About Chestnut Barn

The Chestnut Barn has been attractively restored & furnished to provide comfortable, spacious holiday accommodation.

The ground floor is split level. There is a large kitchen / dining room with steps leading up to the balconied sitting room. From here double doors open onto the sun terrace area where wonderful views of the surrounding countryside can be enjoyed.

The staircase leads to the spacious landing, 2 good-sized bedrooms and bathroom. The master bedroom has a king-size bed. The second bedroom has twin beds. Both rooms have ample space for extra beds. Upstairs ceilings are beamed and timbered and the property is simply but tastefully decorated and furnished.

Steps have been taken to make this property as child friendly as possible, with cupboard locks and stair gates. Games and toys are supplied in each cottage along with equipment to make your holiday easier.

There is ample parking space & views over unspoilt countryside from the sun terrace area.

On site there are two swimming pools and a paddling pool, children's playground with sand pit, football area which are available for the use of guests resident in Chestnut Barn.

Facilities

Swimming Pool: There are two swimming pools on site along with a children's paddling pool

Setting: Fishing Nearby, Horse Riding, Quiet, Rural/Village

Bedrooms: 1 Double Bedroom, 1 Twin Bedroom. Both the bedrooms and the large landing area have adequate space for an extra bed.

Bathroom: 1 Bathroom. The bathroom has a large shower area. We chose not have baths to help conserve water.

Kitchen: Cooker, Hob, Microwave, Toaster, Electric kettle, Blender, Fridge/Freezer. Child equipment such as sterilisers etc

House Linen: Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided and changed weekly.

Telephone: Available at the main farmhouse for urgent calls.

Heating: Log burner in the living area with logs.

Dining: Seating for 4 people in dining area. For outside eating a table and 6 chairs are provided on the balcony.

Entertainment: Satellite TV, DVD, Radio, CD System, Play station 2, books and a selection of toys and games.

Laundry: Laundry facilities are available onsite for an additional charge along with iron and ironing board.

Outside: Owners pools available for your use, Terrace, Garden, BBQ, Parking, Balcony, Garden Furniture. Woodland walks and a children's playground with sand pit, football area available on site.

Suitability: Children Welcome, Not Suitable For Wheelchairs, Smoking Allowed.

Additional information: We are able to provide welcome hampers of food and drink or a child pack to include nappies, formula etc, to ease your arrival. Meals are also available if booked in advance.
